Program Vision
A flexible, inviting creative space where participants of all ages can explore art materials, experiment with ideas, and make personal creations at their own pace.
This blends guided prompts with open-ended exploration — perfect for community maker space sessions, summer camp themes, after-school programs, or drop-in creative hours.
Setup:
- Open tables with art supplies
- Prompt cards for project ideas
- Sample finished projects for inspiration
- Stations by medium (painting, collage, building, sensory art)
What Participants Can Do
- Choose a station
- Pick a prompt or make their own idea
- Create, collaborate, or experiment
- Take home their artwork
Programing
What are the available ways to get involved?
Mixed Materials Makerspace - independent or guided
Set up stations with:
- Recycled materials (cardboard, bottle caps, fabric scraps)
- Beads, pipe cleaners, buttons

Clay or air-dry clay
Participants design something new — jewelry, creatures, tiny worlds, building sculptures.
🖍️ Expressive Crafts - independent or guided
Hands-on crafts with simple prompts:
- Friendship bracelets
- Collage postcards
- Pixel art with grid paper or digital spreadsheets (fun cross-disciplinary idea)
“Come & Create” Events
Rather than structured classes, these are open-studio times with suggested focuses:
