🎒 Back‑to‑School Supplies & New Backpacks Drive Hosted by Gift of Giving / Wright Community Connections

📚 Why your support matters right now: Last year, our community distributed close to 150 backpacks, each brimming with essential school supplies, reaching 142 children from more than 60 families across Clarion, Goldfield, Dows, Belmond, and beyond .
Imagine a child walking into class on the first day—pencils, notebooks, crayons—all thanks to neighbors who cared enough to give.
👧 Kids are counting on us! For many families, especially those where parents work multiple jobs, school supplies are a luxury.
A new backpack isn't just gear—it’s a symbol of confidence, dignity, and belonging. No child should start the school year feeling excluded because something as simple as a glue stick was out of reach.
💔 The stakes are real: When students go without, they fall behind—academically and emotionally. They feel invisible. Every donation sends a message: “We see you. We value your education. We believe in your future.”
🎯 How you can make a difference:** Donate new backpacks — even basic ones change lives. Contribute school supplies — paper, pens, folders, crayons, rulers—any item helps. Spread the word — share this message with friends, coworkers, neighbors. Volunteer your time — help sort, fill, and deliver packs to eager students.
✅ Our goal for this year: Provide at least 200 backpacks, fully stocked with grade-appropriate supplies, to students from preschool through high school. Reach 100+ families across Wright County and nearby communities.
